The New Ulm Suzuki School of Music offers more than just music lessons …
Why Suzuki?
We offer a wide range of opportunities beyond the typical music lessons:
- The Parent/Teacher/Student Triangle
- 2 lessons per week; 1 private lesson and 1 group lesson
- 3 formal recitals per year
- all school concerts
- Allegro Strings performance group
- additional performance opportunities (community venues)
- an exposure to a variety of instruments
- development of community through group lessons, Pops Camp, institutes, etc.
The “Seen” vs. the “Unseen”
- mastery of an instrument is NOT instantaneous; it requires dedication and time
- music lessons promote perseverance
- music lessons build problem solving skills
