The New Ulm Suzuki School of Music offers more than just music lessons …

Why Suzuki?

We offer a wide range of opportunities beyond the typical music lessons:

• The Parent/Teacher/Student Triangle
• 2 lessons per week; 1 private lesson and 1 group lesson
• 3 formal recitals per year
• all school concerts
• Allegro Strings performance group
• additional performance opportunities (community venues)
• an exposure to a variety of instruments
• development of community through group lessons, Pops Camp, institutes, etc.

The “Seen” vs. the “Unseen”

• mastery of an instrument is NOT instantaneous; it requires dedication and time
• music lessons promote perseverance
• music lessons build problem solving skills
