Fall Workshop Sign Ups

Hello Suzuki Parents!

Our Suzuki workshop is fast approaching (October 11th) and we need to get a head count for our Fall Suzuki Workshop. Just a reminder that this activity is included in your tuition payments so there will be no additional charge.

We have great clinicians lined up to work with our students and are looking forward to a great day. Please see your individual teachers regarding specifics on the workshop. We need to hear from you regarding attendance so we can set up the schedule and get information to our clinicians.

We ask that you respond by Sunday, October 5th.

Thanks much and we are all looking forward to a musical day on October 11th.

Fall Recital Sign Ups

Hello Suzuki Families!

Our fall recitals are taking place on Sunday, October 12th at either 2:00 or 3:30 (please choose one). They will be at MLC in the choir room which is located in the Music Center building. Please see the link below and register your student(s) for the October recitals.

2014-15 Registration Reminder

It’s that time of year again! Lessons start next Monday, September 8. We are doing things a bit different for registration night and the parent meeting. Here is the plan:

  1. Do all registration online or by mail (see Tuition Agreement page)
  2. Send in first month’s fees and at least the first 1/2 of the registration fee by September 10 to NUSSM
  3. All Parent Meeting: Monday, September 8 from 5:00 – 6:00 pm at the Suzuki classrooms.
  4. All group lessons (except for Allegro Strings) will also meet – September 8 from 5:00 – 6:00 pm.
  5. Use Door #6 (by the loading dock) and take the elevator to the 3rd floor for all group and individual lessons that happen at the Suzuki Classrooms in the District Administration Building (per the owner’s request)
  6. Allegro Strings students will meet at their regular time on Monday – September 8.
    1. Piano Allegro Strings: 6:00 – 7:00 pm
    2. Violin Allegro Strings: 6:30 – 8:30 pm
  7. Bring your calendars along so that you can sign up for volunteer opportunities We are all looking forward to a great year and will see you on September 8th at 5:00 pm.

2014-15 Registration is Open!

Hello everyone and welcome to the 2014-15 school year!

If you have already contacted one of the teachers at NUSSM and have been accepted onto their schedules, this post is for you. If not, please contact the school so that we can get you in touch with someone soon!

Here are some pieces of information you need:

Things That Have Changed

  1. Level 1 and Level 2 teachers – please read carefully to see which level your teacher is a part of, it affects your tuition rate
  2. Increase in volunteer fee
  3. Tuition increase to cover fall workshop (several of our fixed expenses have gone up this year including rent due to the change in ownership of the Suzuki School classrooms)

Registration will be online or by mail this year. Please visit the Tuition Agreement page for more information and a link to the online form. Please make sure to read the agreement carefully and contact us with any questions you might have.

Additional Information

  • We will be having a parent meeting on September 8, 2014 during the group lesson time and times will be announced next week
  • All lessons begin the week of September 8th – lesson schedules will be out soon
  • Calendars are updated on the website
