Registration Night Coming Up!

The 2013-14 Registration Night is almost here! Here is what you need to know:

  • Monday, August 26 from 6:00 – 7:00 pm at NUSSM
  • Three Ways to Register!
    • Come in person on registration night yourself to register your child or children.
    • Mail in your forms and payment.
    • Register online and mail in your payment.

You can find the 2013-14 Tuition Agreement, instructions, and links to the online form and downloadable form on our Tuition Agreement page.

The most important thing is to get the forms in so we can get your student registered.  Please check out the website for forms and on-line sign up options. If you would prefer you can also get all the forms on August 26.

We are also offering a 5% discount to any family who pays their tuition in full by August 26.

Spring Announcements

Hi All,

As I sit here looking at the SNOW outside my window, I keep telling myself, spring is indeed here and the warm weather IS coming.

And along with spring comes all the planning for summer; vacations, lessons, and, hopefully, music institutes. The board will be meeting in a couple of weeks and one of the decisions we will need to make is how much money we will be able to give to families for institutes this summer. We need to know how many people are planning to attend so we can decide what we are going to be able to allocate. If you are planning on attending an institute this summer, would you please let us know by May 8th? If you are a family with more than one child enrolled in our program, also let us know how many of your children will be attending.

We are also planning our end of year Pot Luck / Play-In. The details are as follows:

  • Date:  May 13
  • Time:  6:00 PM – 7:30 or so…
  • Place:  St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall (201 N. State St.)
  • What to Bring:  Your students (and violins, pianos will be provided :0), extended family, and friends.  Bring a dish to share (NUSSM will provide plates, silverware, napkins, and drink).

Come and join us for a night of good food, good people, and excellent music!

Sallie Draper will be sending out a registration emails for both institutes and the Play-In, so please let us know if you are going to attend or not so we can plan accordingly.

The last week of lessons will be the week of May 13 – 17.

If you have not signed up for summer lessons with your teacher, be sure to check with your individual teacher.

Site Updates

A few changes to announce for the website and Facebook Page.

First, this website now has a Photos page where you will find the last 25 albums put up on our Facebook Page. Of course, we don’t have 25 albums so far, so you can see them all. You will find a link to the Facebook albums on that page as well.

Finally (I guess it has been pretty short so far), you can access our Facebook Page via http://facebook.com/newulmsuzuki instead of some long URL from before. It will be a little nicer to type in (and it LOOKS a lot nicer).
